Purpose of Role:

The HRIS Administrator/Analyst supports the optimization and ongoing administration of Vertex's HR systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now. This role collaborates with HR and IT teams to ensure that the system functions efficiently and aligns with business needs. The HRIS Administrator/Analyst plays a key role in data management, reporting, user support, and system maintenance.

Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Manage day-to-day operations and administration of ADP Workforce Now, including validation tables and system configuration.
  • Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Support system maintenance, troubleshooting, and the implementation of patches or updates.
  • Administer back-end policies and processes, such as benefit enrollments and PTO tracking.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for HR system users.
  • Assist with training users on system functionalities, updates, and best practices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for system-related inquiries and user support.

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Create, modify, and maintain system reports to meet HR and management needs.
  • Perform data scrubbing, audits, and validation to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Support HR in data analysis by providing accurate, timely reports using Excel and system reporting tools.
  • Monitor user compliance and system usage, addressing any data inconsistencies.

Project Support:

  • Assist in HRIS projects such as system upgrades, implementations, and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with HR and IT teams to enhance system functionality and efficiency.
  • Participate in testing new system features and upgrades.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience administering ADP Workforce Now or a similar HRIS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for reporting and analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on detail and problem-solving.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and provide technical support to non-technical users.
