Mission of the Role:

The Director of IT will manage IT functions reporting directly to the VP of Technology. This role is critical in executing the IT strategy, ensuring robust and scalable IT systems, assisting partners with IT projects and support requests, and enabling the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the IT strategy and roadmap in alignment with the company's growth objectives.
  • Lead IT functions, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with VP of Technology, the executive team, and other stakeholders to drive technology initiatives and support business growth.
  • Establish metrics to measure team performance and drive accountability.

IT Infrastructure and Operations:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Manage IT service delivery, including systems applications, support services, and 24/7 support through Managed Service Providers.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.

System Implementation and Integration:

  • Manage IT integration for new acquisitions and build an IT M&A playbook.
  • Ensure smooth transitions and seamless integration of IT systems for new acquisitions.
  • Support CRM and ERP implementations via tight coordination with the IT playbook.

Project Management and Change Management:

  • Manage IT projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement change management processes to support system implementations and organizational transformations.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of IT leadership experience, leading two or more IT functions; preferably in businesses of varying scale.
  • 7+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Proven experience with the configuration and implementation of enterprise systems (Microsoft 365, EntraID, Google Workspace, etc)
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
  • Experience incorporating business and security requirements into all initiatives.

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related specialization.
  • Advanced certifications in relevant domains (M365, CISSP, CISM, etc).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a remote, multi-business workforce with front-line workers.
  • Experience integrating acquisitions in both application and infrastructure domains.
