Helios Service Partners is hiring a remote Director of Accounting & Finance Integration (DAFI). The DAFI will oversee daily FP&A functions for new acquisitions as they are brought into the Helios family. This role reports directly to the Helios Service Partners COO. He/she will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and finance activities as new acquisitions are onboarded. He/she will supervise any accounting-related employees during the transition period. This position will require travel 10-20% of the time (especially in the initial phases of new integrations).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Transition historical chart of accounts to Helios system
  • Oversee monthly closing of books in the initial 90-days
  • Develop and maintain financial strategies to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability of new acquisition
  • Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Manage cash flow and maintain relationships with banking and financial institutions
  • Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and decision-making for new acquisitions
  • Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements based on financial analysis
  • Hires and terminates team members on the team as needed
  • Leads onboarding to get the new company onto the Helios FP&A systems within 90-days
  • May manage multiple acquisitions and onboardings simultaneously
  • Support other Helios-level FP&A functions as needed when not managing an integration and onboarding
  • All other tasks and duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA preferred
  • Strong accounting background (former controller, etc.)
  • Big 4 audit accounting experience preferred
  • At least 10 years of experience in financial management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Proven track record of driving financial growth and success
  • Knowledge of financial software and systems
  • Experience and proficiency with Excel

Helios compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $130,000 in our lowest geographic market up to $175,000 annually in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Helios’s compensation may also include annual bonus, sign-on payments, as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
