How you’ll be impactful:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our flagship marketplace brand, Keen. The ideal candidate is an experienced analyst with a wide breadth of experience in marketing and product analytics.
The Senior Data Analyst will bring rigor and data driven recommendations to our Marketing, Product, Advisor, and Customer Service teams in pursuit of cost-effective user acquisition, retention, and monetization. The analyst will proactively analyze performance data, create appropriate models & metrics, and interpret operational trends. The role requires effective and concise communication of findings and recommendations to functional managers and senior executives.
Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with counterparts in marketing, product, engineering, and customer service to advance the Keen roadmap and optimize customer journeys
- Be the authority on the source data used to segment users, track marketing campaigns, assess marketing effectiveness, and model expected customer lifetime value
- Actively monitor and enrich Tableau dashboards to surface relevant insights about user behaviors affecting acquisition, retention and monetization.
- Proactively explore transactional data to surface insights and influence improvements to product and marketing
- Champion a test and learn mindset by generating hypotheses, designing AB tests, and rigorously interpreting statistical results
- Recommend changes to matching algorithms that maximize conversion rates and CLV
- Lead ad hoc analysis as part of diagnostic exercises and to estimate the impact of changes to marketing strategies and product features
- Clearly communicate findings and actionable insights to teammates and executive leadership
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative analytics fields; Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years of broad financial, marketing, and/or product analytics experience
- Proven ability to frame and solve problems by extracting insight from raw data
- Proficient with SQL and at least one BI reporting tool (Tableau preferred)
- Knowledge of marketplace dynamics and ecommerce metrics
- A curious mind and exceptional critical thinking skills
- Desire to learn new tools as needed: Iterable, Optimizely, Mix Panel, GA
- Willingness to challenge the status quo, ask questions, and roll-up sleeves to get things done
- Ability to work cross-functionally with a wide range of skillsets – engineers to creatives
- Knowledge of python and Snowflake a plus
- Bias for action: Willing to take initiative, set a direction, and drive execution
- Data-driven: Others bring opinion, you bring data
- Influencer: An active and objective thought partner able to bring clarity amid uncertainty
- Structured: Systematic approach to framing and solving problems
- Customer journeys mapping experience
- Marketplace experience / ecommerce / online service

Pay Transparency:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000-$165,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
