How you’ll be impactful:
We are looking for a QA Manager to lead our QA group in the R&D department.
What you’ll be doing:
- Responsibility for managing software testing in the organization - both manual and automation
- Manage, lead, and mentor a team of QA manual and automation engineers to develop, execute test, maintain & improve infrastructure
- Analyze testing process to ensure the highest quality and best practices
- Driving automation development excellence within the team
- Collaborate with other R&D team leads & PMs (planning & designing testing scopes and prioritization)
- Responsibility for formalization and implementation of testing methodology.
- Overall responsibility for work organization and work methods, determining priorities, staffing, budget, and control.
- Defining policies, objectives and work plans in their field and determining the allocation of resources in order to meet objectives and schedules.
- Serving as a professional authority for subordinates.
- Analyze, diagnose, and debug complex customer issues.
- Design and implement work methods and habits to improve product reliability.
- Raise critical issues within the product from tickets or QA routines.
- Conduct root cause analysis to enhance product and team efficiency.
- Foster cooperative relationships with other internal groups.
- Acquire broad and in-depth product knowledge.
- Drive and ensure a high-quality bar of tests execution and documentation, test results, bugs, and bugs validation (quality life cycle)
- Drive and control both manual testing and automated debugging
- Provide post-escalation analysis for root cause and preventative actions, to reduce escalations.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Has managerial experience with leading remote teams - Minimum 2 years of experience as an automation team leader
- Strong leadership skills to manage and mentor a team of QA engineers.
- Strong background and hands-on experience with Automation and manual practices
- Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks (Minimum 5 years of experience)
- Experience in testing WEB applications - advantage
- Experience in testing mobile applications - must
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks for automation (e.g., Selenium, Appium, etc.) - Advantageous.
- Ability to integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience in developing and implementing manual QA processes and methodologies.
- Ability to design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strategic thinkers with ability to build and lead projects- from design to implementation
- Experience in leading
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work with offshore/remote teams and local offices
- Ability to grow and mentor others
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Positive attitude and ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Fearless determination to tackle difficult testing scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- BSc in Computer Science or QA course certificate- Advantage
