How you’ll be impactful:

As a Risk Analyst, you will join a seasoned team of individuals who strive to operate a safe, well-lit marketplace. You will focus on balancing fraud and friction, monitoring industry trends and staying ahead of fraudsters.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Identify and track fraud trends by reviewing transaction patterns and accounts
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to provide actionable insights and support KPI development
  • Review and analyze user behavior
  • Investigate and respond to chargebacks and fraud inquiries
  • Review and monitor inbound/outbound transactions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop risk management processes and tools

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred and 2 years of proven experience as an E-commerce Risk Analyst, Fraud Analyst, or related role within the e-commerce or financial industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets and extract actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to construct solutions independently and apply strong decision-making in complex situations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A plus if you have experience in Tableau, SQL, Splunk or e-commerce payment processors
  • Familiarity with fraud detection tools, anti-fraud systems, and risk management methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey insights, findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized documentation.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving e-commerce trends, fraud techniques, and risk management technologies.

Pay Transparency:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$115,000 + bonus, equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
