Our mission is to collaboratively engage with the partnerships, marketing, and sales teams in the creation, amplification, and leadership of a world-class reseller partner ecosystem. Success in this mission will be defined by consistently exceeding our booking performance targets, encompassing net new business, renewals, and expansions, while concurrently enhancing our equity value.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
As the Director of Channel Partnerships, you will be the driving force behind establishing and nurturing thriving relationships with our external reseller partners. Your pivotal role will contribute significantly, with an ambitious target of surpassing the $10 million mark in revenue growth for the company by 2024, all while spearheading our market expansion endeavors. To excel in this role, you'll need to blend strategic acumen with compelling communication, astute relationship management, and the ability to derive meaningful insights from data for well-informed decision-making.
Your key Accountabilities include:
Team Building and Leadership
- Managing all channel functions including strategy, program development, management, and reporting.
- Cultivating a strong, high-performance, values-aligned culture that is data-driven.
- Ability to work cross functionally with Enablement, Sales, and Marketing functions.
Reseller Partner Strategy:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive reseller partner strategy that aligns with the company's sales goals and market positioning.
- Working with marketing to identify and prioritize potential reseller partners based on their fit with the company's products/services, brand/purpose and target market.
Partner Relationship Management:
- Building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships with reseller partners.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for reseller partners, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries in a timely manner.
Revenue Generation:
- Collaborating with reseller partners to set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.
- Monitoring sales performance and provide guidance to resellers to optimize revenue generation.
Program Development and Execution:
- Developing a clear reseller program structure, including pricing, incentives, and support mechanisms.
- Working closely with internal teams to ensure successful execution of the reseller program, including training, marketing materials, and technical support.
Performance Analysis and Improvement:
- Analyzing sales data and key performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of the reseller program.
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance the program's impact and efficiency.
Market Insights:
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics related to reseller partnerships.
- Translating market insights into actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the reseller channel.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Fostering open communication and collaboration between internal teams (sales, marketing, product, etc.) and reseller partners.
- Ensuring resellers are well-informed about product updates, promotions, and company news.
Training and Support:
- Providing reseller partners with comprehensive training on the company's products/services, sales techniques, and value proposition.
- Offering ongoing support to address any questions, challenges, or obstacles that resellers may encounter.
- Working with the enablement function to create and deliver training to partnership organizations.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
- Negotiating and finalizing contractual agreements with reseller partners, ensuring terms and conditions are favorable to both parties.
- Monitoring contract compliance and addressing any issues that arise.
Relationship Expansion:
- Identifying opportunities to expand relationships with existing reseller partners through upselling, cross-selling, and co-marketing initiatives.
- Collaborating with partners to explore new markets and customer segments.
Reporting and Analytics:
- Creating regular reports on reseller performance, revenue trends, and program effectiveness.
- Utilizing data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize strategies.
Continuous Improvement:
- Staying proactive in seeking opportunities for process optimization and program enhancement.
- Adapting strategies based on feedback, changing market conditions, and emerging best practices.
