Job Description

FEV Tutor is the market leader in High-Impact Tutoring for learning acceleration. We deliver live online 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions using our standards-aligned and research-based curriculum. We are seeking educators with instructional experience in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 to create student-facing and tutor-facing math lessons. This is a remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.

• Math specialists with deep knowledge of K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 math content and instructional best practices
• Self-motivated workers who have the ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment

What You Will Do

• Develop math lessons based on our scope and sequence using our math lesson template
• Create lessons using a combination of standards-aligned items from our item bank and our own original standards-aligned questions
• Create visuals, models, or diagrams, and other visual elements that enhance student engagement and understanding and align with the curriculum content and pedagogical goals.
• Follow project plan timelines for submitting and revising lessons via Wrike (our project management and communication tool)
• Author lessons via our custom authoring tool

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a directly related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience with K-12 math curriculum development
• Familiar with CCSS and other state-specific math standards and instructional methods
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools
• Understanding of math concepts and ability to represent them visually
• Experience with MS Office, Google Drive
• Experience working remotely
