Job Description

FEV Tutor is the market leader in High-Impact Tutoring for learning acceleration. We deliver live online 1:1 and small group tutoring sessions using our standards-aligned and research-based curriculum. We are seeking educators with instructional experience in grades K-5, 6-8, or 9-12 to review and provide feedback on student-facing and tutor-facing academic lessons. This is a remote, work-from-anywhere contract position.

Who will Succeed at this Job

• K-12 Math and ELA specialists with deep knowledge of elementary, middle, and high school math and ELA content and instructional best practices
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional proofreading skills are essential to ensure the accuracy and clarity of our curriculum materials
• Self-motivated workers who have the ability to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
  

What You Will Do

• Review and evaluate the completed lessons for accuracy, clarity, and alignment with standards
• Conduct thorough proofreading and editing to ensure grammatical correctness and consistency
• Provide constructive feedback to lesson writers and graphic designers to improve the overall quality of the curriculum materials
• Follow project plan timelines for revising lessons via Wrike (our project management and communication tool)

About You:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a directly related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience with K-12 math curriculum development
• Familiar with CCSS and other state-specific math standards and instructional methods
• Proficiency in graphic design software and tools
• Understanding of math concepts and ability to represent them visually
• Experience with MS Office, Google Drive
• Experience working remotely
