About our Partner Brand that you'd work for:
Homeland Safety Systems, Inc. is a rapidly expanding and ever-changing company with a core focus in industrial and commercial security consulting, design, engineering, and installation of access control, CCTV, and communication equipment for high end, complex electronic security systems. We currently serve Louisiana, Texas, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory, accuracy, coordinating order fulfillment and delivery of products. The manager will schedule and oversee warehouse team, manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Serve as key team member in upcoming implementation of BuildOps software to ensure smooth implementation by EOY 2024.
- Establish relationships with key suppliers/vendors for purchasing to negotiate maximized discounts/savings for volume purchasing. Add goal metric for inventory cost or annual discounts, etc. for 2024.
- Responsible for inventory accuracy to support manufacturing of internal products and fulfill sales and operational quotes.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory count processes and prepare required operational and financial documentation.
- Develop and update warehouse operations procedures for purchasing, inventory, shipment methods and equipment utilization.
- Establish KPI ‘s (Key Performance Indicators) to measure warehouse performance.

- Train and manage warehouse staff to solve day-to-day operational issues and to reach long-term and short-term goals.
- Review and prepare workflows, space allocations, equipment quantities and action plans that meet industry standards for safety, productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Manage fleet operations, ensure compliance, and oversee vehicle maintenance and inventory.
Requirements:
- Clean background
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks to obtain industry licenses and security clearance
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug screens (Required by State Law)
- Previous Warehouse/ Inventory experience is a MUST
- Experience with warehouse related software (Build Ops or comparable).
- Asset Management
- Current driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
- Possess or be able to obtain proper state licensing once hired
- A basic knowledge of electronics
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Possess a dedication to working in a fast-paced environment
