Opsahl Dawson (ODC) was founded in 1979 in Longview, WA, where we have flourished into the award-winning firm we are today. We specialize in Accounting, Tax Preparation, and Bookkeeping with 75+ people across the United States. With 30+ years of proven service, we're the go-to CPA firm in SW Washington. The Role

We are looking for a Tax Senior to join our team! Our Tax Senior is crucial to our business, and this role will play an instrumental part in delivering top-notch service to our clients nationwide. This role requires excellent attention to detail and willingness to collaborate with multiple teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review tax filings (1040, 1041, Partnerships, LLC, S-Corp) for business owner's corporate and individual needs
  • Review tax information supplied by the client and obtained open items if necessary
  • Identify and communicate any tax matters to Senior Managers or the broader team
  • Work with your internal ODC team and help them review clients' comparative financials
  • Begin acquiring the skills necessary to develop quality client relationships

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of public accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Expertise in tax accounting, tax compliance and all kinds of tax return options

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, QuickBooks, CCH Axcess, Engagement, Thomson Reuters, or UltraTax
  • CPA or EA preferred

The annual base salary range for this role is $75,000-100,000. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and/or skill level.
