Overview

Mission of the Role:

Apex Service Partners is seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to join our marketing team as an HTML Graphic Designer. As part of the CRM team, this role will be responsible for the Design and coding of marketing Email deliveries on the email delivery platform (Blueshift) using HTML and CSS skills.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this position will consist of:

  • Produce and execute email and SMS campaigns, including building emails from templates and HTML, copywriting, asset coordination, QA, and scheduling.
  • Support various strategic programs via manual and triggered campaigns across the customer lifecycle including prospecting, win-back, nurturing, post-purchase, loyalty, retention, surveys, and transactional emails.
  • Manage and execute email/SMS marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities, demand forecasts, and internal stakeholders.
  • Design and copywrite to optimize email and text creative into template structures based on best practices.
  • Develop all assets used in email marketing including banners, animations, lifestyle, and product bundle images using Adobe Creative Suite software.
  • Partner with the CRM Manager and other business owners to create concepts and campaigns which reflect brand look/feel/voice while achieving business objectives.
  • Develop and implement design best practices for optimizing delivery and open rates, click through rates, revenue growth, and other KPIs.
  • Perform render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure that emails are rendering correctly for the majority of the subscriber base.
  • Regularly identify trends and email marketing strategies from other leading global brands to glean insights on best practices and new innovative ideas for email marketing tactics, including audits of how we can acquire, nurture and retain these customers.
  • Constantly look for new ways to improve overall programs through new technology, tools, partners, trends, and best practices.
  • Other creative requests as needed (beyond email/text).

Role Requirements:

  • Ability to ideate, create and execute email campaigns to communicate, educate and call to action through a combination of various support services (HTML, Creative, Deployment, etc.) and hands on execution within software solutions (Blueshift)
  • Have a keen design eye, but the technical email knowledge to translate good design into high performing emails.
  • Hands-on experience in marketing automation platforms, preferably Blueshift, Hubspot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Marketo.
  • Detailed knowledge of email regulations, best practices, and compliance internationally in various regulatory regimes (e.g., GDPR or CASL).
  • Involvement in growing, engaging with, and analyzing the performance of a large email marketing database.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM.
  • Strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Understand different audiences and how to communicate to them effectively
  • Keen eye to preserve integrity and voice of our brands and messaging throughout the entire campaign development process
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on approach. Able to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with teams to ensure the highest quality deliverables
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment

Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in digital marketing or a related field of experience
  • 5+ years experience in multi-unit CRM environments
  • Proficiency in HTML design and understanding, understanding of dynamic templating language is beneficial
  • High energy, bias for action, and personal accountability for results.

  • Solid knowledge of CRM principles, customer journeys and ESP/CDP tools
  • Experience with CRM software and digital marketing tools and techniques.

Other:

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas – Hybrid office environment – 3 days/wk in office.
